Riquísimo todo, excelente servicio ????????????????????????????
Consistently great food and wonderful staff!
Food and drinks were delicious! The staff was very accommodating
I've been here a couple times now for Taco Tuesday. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Happy Hour is offered Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm then again from 8pm-10pm. Happy Hour is offered all day on Sunday's. Complimentary chips and salsa are offered. The chips are fresh and lightly salted. The salsa flavorful with a bit of spice. On Tuesday's, crunchy beef or chicken tacos are $1 and soft beef or chicken tacos are $1.95. The tacos are served with a generous portion of beef, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Love tacos! The lounge offers a jukebox which always ends up playing eclectic tunes. Creates a fun evening watching fellow patrons sing and tap their feet. Ourselves included. Staff is friendly and unhurried, allowing the patrons to sit back, relax and enjoy their surroundings/friends.
Very good Mexican food. I recommend the Chile Rellenos and Carne Asada. Wait staff is attentive and willing to explain what the items are if you don't know. I am looking forward to having more QuickBooks and Quicken clients in Everett as that will give me an excuse to come back.
First time here with Sister had the house made Margarita which was delicious. Have since been back multiple times with Husband and things are very mixed. First off, the chips and salsa taste old (at least the first batch we had). Our meal, which consisted of taco meat (ground beef) in some form is way way way too salty. But the most distressing thing, in the Bar which is where we go, is the complete lack of decency when it comes to music, what plays, and its loudness. Every time we come here the music is SO LOUD that you cannot carry on a conversation. You can ask them to turn it down....but it takes absolutely forever which is very uncomfortable. We were not the only ones as a group of 4 young men got up and asked to be moved to the regular seating area because of the loudness of the music. The last time we were here, which will be the last time we are here, nice Mexican music was playing when we entered. After we got seated, the music changed to foul mouth language rap music. When my husband got up and told the kid behind the bar that that music was totally unacceptable and ask for it to be changed - it was changed, but not for quite a few minutes. Anyone, or any child, walking back to the bathrooms would've heard that music. Disgusting! Don't know whether it's because we are white, if there is some grudge there against people who pay your bills and salary or what - but completely and utterly unacceptable. Will not go back.
I have been to the restaurant before which is why I chose to go yesterday but last night was a bust. I understand that it was 5 de Mayo and once I got in the place was packed. The server warned us that we might have to wait a little but we didn't mind cause we just wanted to have fun and enjoy the night. Unfortunately the service not only moved slow but the food came out cold! We waited about 45 mins for our food to come out and it was cold! The plate was hot but not the food.... When I complained to the server she took it back and apologized. 15 mins passed and she brought the same plate back and she warned about the plate being extremely hot and yes the plate was extremely hot but the food was even colder than the previous one. I asked to speak with the manager and he couldn't stop apologizing and he promised for a new plate of food. About 20 mins passed and we noticed that the people that sat behind us got the same plate of food I ordered and they were just getting to the restaurant and they enjoyed the food as it was freshly served. Another 20 mins go by and another server showed up to the table behind us with more food and the lady told the server that they received a different plate of food that wasn't theirs and they ate it anyways so yes the people that sat behind us and got there way after us received my freshly made plate of food! I asked for the bill and just walked out... I was very disappointed that Management just let us walk out the restaurant without trying to fix the situation. They have lost me as a loyal costumer.
I still wonder why this place has such low ratings. Either we were too hungry or the food was real tasty. And I bet on the later! Spicy Mexican food always makes me happy. Entrees are around 15-18 dollars but the quantity makes up for it. Their chips and salsa is great too. Rice could have been more softer and flavorful. Service was slow and they did forget to get our margaritas on time. But other than that no issues. Definitely a must try if you are in that area!
People are always friendly and I luv that they know who we are even though we don't go there all the time. I luv everything on the menu and the favorite dish for my daughter is the chicken enchiladas. We would even get churros without ordering them. They are friendly servers and the manager is awesome. Won't go anywhere else
My husband & I came in for a date night during the week. The bar/cantina was pretty empty as it was only about 5pm. I ordered the CHIMICHANGA DE MAR, I am almost certain that they used the canned baby shrimp as well as canned crab. The dish smelt very fishy. My drink was amazing, sorry I cannot remember exactly what it was, Mellon something. My husband ordered the Carne Asada (average) and the Cadillac Margarita that tasted like sugar water. When he asked the bartender about the drink he was told that it was a pre-made drink that he offered to add more tequila which helped cut some of the sugar. Overall, this was very average, I don't know if we caught them on an off day or what.
This evening we came to La Hacienda for a date night, just me and the hubs sans the kiddos. As always we had stellar service and beyond tasty food. If you're feeling adventurous try the Mocajete. It's a dish that is off-menu. Cactus, chunks of casera cheese, chorizo sausage, chicken, Carne asada, shrimp, bell peppers, tomatoes and a delicious sauce served in a piping hot lava rock bowl that stays nice and hot during your entire meal. It was a little spicy for me personally (because I'm a spice wimp) but I toned it down with sour cream. It is served with rice, beans, lettuce and tortillas on the side, although the extra sides aren't terribly necessary since there is a lot of food in the Mocajete to begin with. We ordered Marcos Margaritas and were served by the owner Marco himself. He promised them "Delicious and Nutritious". "Delicious now, and you'll feel the nutritious in the morning" he said. Very well made margaritas with tequila, grand marnier, and fresh limes. And yes, they were delicious. My only qualm about the night was the beans served with the chips and salsa. They were a little plain. A touch of salt or cumin would've made them quite tasty. Other than that, visit #7 was as delightful as always.
I don't know if it's because we came in after 9 at night, but our food did not taste fresh at all. I ordered the 2 chicken enchilada combo. The rice and beans definitely were old and it looked like they just heated it up and served it. My chicken was not too bad but also didn't taste fresh. As far as the taste, it was very average and I've definitely had much better quality for the price. I would give 5 stars for service, however. There was a lady that constantly brought us fresh chips and salsa. Yes, the chips were fresh! :)
This is good Mexican food. I went to the bar to have a bite and a pina colada. Very good service
Fast food? Fine dining? I ordered the chicken mole. What I received were rice and beans, lots and lots of sauce and a moderate amount of hard, dried out, over cooked chicken. The flavor was just ok, so this meal receives 2 stars at best. Unfortunately, Taco Bell tastes better than this meal.
Food just ok. I guess we should have figured seeing how it was about 7 on a Friday night and it was pretty empty. Hubby and I usually go to La Palmera and decided to try this place. We had an Amazon local deal so we said what the heck . The atmosphere was nice and the waiter was great, the food...blah. I got the carne asada plate and it was just ok. Not much flavor in the meat though. The rice and beans were pretty good. Being from Southern California I know my Mexican food and this was just ok. Hubby got nachos, chips and cheese and only. The chips tasted like you could buy them and make it at home. We will keep our Friday night date at La Palmera..
