This place never fails me. I've been here so many times, i've lost count. Portions are big, so they're definitely shareable. My absolute favorite meal: Pad See Ew with Shrimp Tempura and finish it off with a Thai Iced Tea. I love this place because it's almost hidden between a 7/11 and a pizza parlor so you have to drive slow. The family that owns it always seem so sweet. The ambiance is dark and quiet but I prefer intimate over hustle and bustle.
I ordered the Panang Chicken Curry. They didn't give much sauce, whereas other places usually give plenty. I prefer a lot of sauce (as Future would say: too much sauce). And their Thai tea was way too sugary. It tasted like melted ice cream. I couldn't taste the bitterness of the tea at all. Final verdict: hometown bias and fast service saves from a lower rating.
I will just say, PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR CHICKEN! it just looks like fake meat. I order yellow curry and pad thai today and it ended up in the trash. The only thing I got to keep was the thai tea.

You won't find a more convenient Thai restaurant than Thai Corner. They have a drive through ready to take your order and serve you. I prefer to call ahead so once I get there the food is ready. Food quality is awesome. I've tried their Pad Thai with Tofu, and Chicken, Drunken Noodles, Pad See Ew, Seafood Soup, Papaya Salad, Thai Beef Salad, and of course their Sticky Rice and Mango! They also have one of the best thai iced teas around. I've become sort of a drive through regular here the past month. I see myself coming here a lot more in the near future. Super friendly staff and as I mentioned, great food! See you guys soon!
Our favorite Thai place was closed so we figured we'd try this one. Started with the Tom Yum Soup. Broth was ok, mushrooms and chicken were generous portions but the lemon grass was cut very thin to the point of breaking apart. Every bite have what amounted to shards of tough lemon grass. Literally had to pick out pieces. Would have been good with larger pieces of lemon grass that were easily picked out. Chicken satay had ok flavor but was oily. Yellow curry was watery. Pad Thai was ok (second star was for the pad Thai).
Been coming here since 1998 and still love the food. With the new renovations made its an even more pleasant atmosphere to eat at. Personal favorite is the pineapple fried rice, pretty big portion and commensurate to the price. The little nibbles are tasty nothing to complain about. Thai tea is pricy but I've tried most other teas all over the La area and this place is by far the best at it. I'd recommend this spot to anyone that likes this style of cooking.
My favorite spot to have lunch while waiting to get my car wash done. Good food, great service and inexpensive. They always have the lunch special until 3p, or you can get the dinner special served all day. I usually get the Som Tom (Green Papaya Salad) i like it spicy, and one of the lunch special or dinner, depends if Im starving. I have never had a bad meal here, and Ive tried many dishes.
My family keeps coming back for their food. They also sell other stuff and plants. Plus their large Thai tea is really huge, almost like a bowl.
Ordered the Pad Thai, curry shrimp, bbq ribs, shrimp fried rice, & papaya salad and everything was DELICIOUS. And it came out super fast! The ladies that work here are so sweet too. Love this place :)
They have great lunch specials. Get the thai iced tea they serve them in large goblets and they go well with everything.
So far so good! I've had the dinner combos and the pineapple fried rice. I have yet to be disappointed. The lemonade is watered down, so I'll probably sick to water from now on. But that's no big deal with this heat wave! Next up, I would try the soup! Service is nice and fast. The waitress has been friendly both times. I am a satisfied customer!
The Pineapple Fried Rice is my favorite dish at Thai Corner. It includes EVERYTHING I love: shrimp, chicken, sausage, raisins, chucks of pineapples, onions and tomatoes. Pure yumminess! Having trouble deciding on a choice of rice, the Pineapple Fried Rice is the one!
Try the Combo Dinner: Brisket, Ribs, Pulled Pork And 2 Sides
I ordered the deep fried tofu entree through the drive through. The woman who took my order was nice/polite but she seemed like the only one there. It took at least 15-20 minutes while we sat in the car. The tofu was cut longer, which is different for a Thai place. It tasted plain, just fried with flour. The sweet and sour sauce was delish. They don't have chili pepper sauce, only sriracha packets. Price was 6.50 and came out to 7.90. Apparently tax is 20% here? (I didn't tip, I chose drive-through.)
Don't be deceived by the drive through and location! The food is AMAZING. We went at a random time, around 4pm midweek. It was empty and the service was great. We ordered the Pad Thai which was delicious, the yellow curry which was SOOOO FLAVORFUL, and the fried rice with pork which was amazing as well. I usually like Pad Thai the best wherever I go, but the curry and friend rice blew my mind. It's cheap, they have big portions, and it's delicious. What more could you ask for?
Try the shrimp salad.
The food is so so good here
